Ravens vs. Titans 2023 NFL Week 6 Odds, Preview & Pick

By Jeff Stinger

There’s one last game to be played in London this season, and it doesn’t involve the Jacksonville Jaguars this time around. Instead, the Jaguars’ division rivals, the Tennessee Titans, sacrifice a home game in Music City to host the second straight NFL game in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium against the Baltimore Ravens. Who’ll prevail with a jolly good win in the UK bright and early this upcoming Sunday?

Nitrobetting is ready to take your bets into the end zone this 2023 NFL season. Let’s take a closer look at the upcoming Week 6 divisional showdown between the Baltimore Ravens and the Tennessee Titans.

Why Bet on the Baltimore Ravens?

Leave it to the Pittsburgh Steelers to crush the Baltimore Ravens’ momentum. The Ravens came up short of a victory in Week 6, as the Steelers came from behind to secure a much-needed 17-10 home win. That puts Baltimore in a virtual tie with Pittsburgh in the division race with identical 3-2 records, but with the latter having the tiebreaker edge following Week 6’s result.

Lamar Jackson appeared to be controlling the pace along with his team’s offense. However, the former league MVP finished with just 236 yards on 22-of-38 passing, including a back-breaking interception in the fourth quarter that led to a go-ahead touchdown for the Steelers. The Ravens also went just 5-of-14 on third downs and coughed up a pair of costly turnovers.

At the very least, the Ravens’ defense, which has already been ravaged by injuries, remains one of the best stop units in the league. They rank second overall allowing just an average of 266.4 yards of offense to opponents, and they’re also tied with the Browns for the second-best scoring defense allowing just an average of 15 points per contest.

Why Bet on the Tennessee Titans?

It’s still hard to pin down exactly where the Tennessee Titans stand this season, whether as a playoff contender or a mere pretender. After a 24-point blowout of the Bengals in Week 4, Tennessee fell to its division rival Indianapolis in Week 5, losing 23-16 to the Colts with backup Indy quarterback Gardner Minshew with more playing time than injured rookie starting QB Anthony Richardson.

The Titans neither have back-to-back wins nor losses, as head coach Mike Vrabel seeks more consistency on the winning front. Ryan Tannehill failed to score a TD pass while throwing a huge game-ending pick against the Colts, while stud running back Derrick Henry mustered up just 43 rushing yards on 13 carries.

Tennessee has been passable on defense at best, as their 18.6 points given up on average is still good enough for the ninth-best mark in the NFL. The team’s D, which has been one of its strong points for the past couple of campaigns, has only generated four takeaways through five games, and it’s this lack of game-changing turnovers that put a cap on the defense’s potential.

Ravens vs. Titans Expert Betting Predictions

Two of the more unpredictable AFC teams collide across the pond to make for an exciting finale live in London. We’ll have to side with the team with the better play-caller at the helm, and that’s Baltimore. Jackson should have a bigger chip on his shoulder after losing to the darn Steelers this past weekend, and we predict Lamar will pop off to the delight of the fans in Europe as the Ravens coast to a double-digit win.
