With a 4-7-1 record, Indianapolis won’t come close to winning their division. Dallas has won 4-of-5 and 2 straight. The Cowboys hope to keep the good times going but face a seriously daunting spread. Will the Boys cover the massive spread? Or will the Colts grab an ATS win?

Why Bet on the Las Vegas Raiders?

Earlier this season, the Raiders were playing terrible offense. Heading into their week 14 clash, Vegas has turned it around big time.

Las Vegas does one thing really well and another thing not so well. The good thing the Raiders do is hold opponents to 113.8 rushing yards per game.

The bad thing is allowing 258.1 passing yards each contest. The yards allowed ranks LV thirtieth against the pass. The Raiders rank thirty-first in takeaways.

Vegas has 9 on the season. There is one more positive. Maxx Crosby has 10.5 sacks, which makes him one of the AFC’s better defensive ends.

Why Bet on the Los Angeles Rams?

Injuries, including big ones to Matthew Stafford and Cooper Kupp, has made the Rams’ offense one of the worst in the league. Los Angeles ranks in the bottom five in almost very statistical category.

The Rams are thirty-first in yards per game at 283.1. Los Angeles ranks twenty-fifth in passing yards each contest at 195.8. The Rams average less than 88 rushing yards per game, ranking thirtieth, and average a bit more than 16 each contest, ranking twenty-ninth. The Rams are even terrible at turning over the football with 19, which ranks twenty-eighth.

Injuries have also hit the Rams’ defense. Aaron Donald missed the week 13 loss to Seattle. Donald might have to miss this game against the Raiders.

In the past four games, three opponents have scored 27. Kansas City only scored 26, but the Chiefs beat the Rams by 16. The defense has failed to force interceptions or fumbles.

LAR has 11 takeaways, ranking twenty-seventh in the NFL. Donald has just 5 sacks and Nick Scott has 2 picks.

Raiders vs. Rams Expert Betting Predictions

The Rams may use Baker Mayfield next week but there’s no way he can learn the offense in a day. Then again, these are desperate times in Inglewood and maybe the only chance the Rams have of beating the Raiders is to put the ball into Baker’s hand, write a few plays on a napkin, have him pull out the napkin in the huddle, and get to work.

That appears to be the only way the Rams will win this game or even come close to covering the spread. The problem the Rams have is that on Thursday they face a team that’s quickly rising, beating up opponents on the ground.

When you’re rushing attack can destroy a defense, you often win. In this case, the reeling Rams won’t put up much of a fight. Vegas grabs an easy win and cover.
