Kentucky Wildcats vs. Missouri Tigers

• When: Wednesday, December 28th, 2022. 7:00pm EST.
• Where: Mizzou Arena, Columbia, MO

Big Blue has an excellent 8-3 record. But heading into this game, the Wildcats have not performed well against the spread. Kentucky is just 4-7 ATS overall and 0-5 against spread lines in their last 5.

Mizzou has a single loss this season and is 7-5 ATS. Coach Cal’s squad always gets overplayed. So this sets up as a Missouri win and cover.

Bama is one of the best teams in the nation. But neither one of these squads is good at covering spreads, both are 5-6-1 ATS. The Tide should win this. The line, though, will be overinflated. So Miss State is the pick to cover.

Sometimes, coaches fit universities like a glove. Sean Miller ran Xavier’s program before bouncing and taking the head job at Arizona. Miller is back and the Musketeers are again thriving.

But UConn is 13-0 and an incredible 11-1-1 against the spread. Eventually, every team loses and Miller and his players will be fired up to win this game. The Musketeers get the call SU and ATS.

Florida State Seminoles vs. Duke Blue Devils

The Dookies are a solid club but they’re just 6-7 ATS. FSU has gone 4-1 against the spread in their last 5. The Seminoles should face an overlay spread line, which makes them the play.

Arizona Wildcats vs. Arizona State Sun Devils

This happens in Tempe, which automatically gives the Sun Devils an edge. But ASU heads into the week after a stunning 37 points loss to San Francisco.

The Dons dominated Arizona State, winning 97-60 as a +3 home dog. Arizona has continued to blast opponents with the only loss versus Utah.

The Cats win, but the spread will be too high for Zona, who seems to give up the backdoor cover more than other squads, to get by. ASU is the spread play.

UCLA Bruins vs. Washington Huskies

This happens in Tempe, which automatically gives the Sun Devils an edge. But ASU heads into the week after a stunning 37 points loss to San Francisco.

11-2 UCLA also has a decent 8-5 record against the spread. The Bruins beat Kentucky a couple of games back on a neutral floor.

Washington has a decent defense, but the offense has no shot of keeping up versus a UCLA side that averages 80.3 each game. The Bruins blowout the Huskies in this matchup.
