At 20-to-1 odds, the Arizona Wildcats are an overlay to win the National Title. Since arriving in Tucson a couple of seasons ago, Tommy Lloyd has created one of the most consistent winning teams in all of college basketball.
Zona lost in the first round of last season’s NCAA Tournament, but the 2-seed Wildcats came up against a Sweet 16 squad in 15-seed Princeton. This season, Arizona should be better than they were in 2022.
7-foot Oumar Ballo is one of the most dominant bigs in the nation. Luke Chapman will start in the front court with Ballo. The Cats boast three backcourt players with All-American talent: former UNC guard Caleb Love, Pelle Larson, and sophomore point-guard Kylan Boswell. Take the Wildcats seriously as a title contender.

Led by senior Jeremy Roach, the Duke Blue Devils will send one of the best starting fives in college hoops to the floor. Roach to sophomore Kyle Filipowski should be a call we hear all season.
Filipowski is a preseason All-American. Mark Mitchell and Tyrese Proctor are a couple of players that will ensure the Blue Devils have a deep NCAA Tournament run. The key for the Devils will be how well the bench steps up because if any of the four listed players, Proctor, Filipowski, Mitchell, or Roach goes down to injury, things will become very difficult for the Blue Devils.
The good news is that outside of North Carolina, the Atlantic Coast Conference doesn’t seem nearly as deep this season as it has in the past. So Duke should have a clear path to a 1-seed in the March Madness Tournament.

Head coach Bill Self has had awesome players pretty much since he took the job at Kansas. So when Self said former Michigan star Hunter Dickinson was the best big Self had ever coached, college hoops fans took notice.
Kansas has a stellar starting five. In addition to Hunter, who averaged 18.5 points and grabbed 8.5 boards per game while playing in the ultra-deep Big Ten, Dajuan Harris is a potential All-American. So are Kevin McCullar J. and KJ Adams.
Nick Timberlake, who projects as the final starter, can light it up from deep. The odds are too low for us, which is why Rock Chalk is our third choice, but if you don’t mind the 10-to-1, go for it because on paper Kansas wins the title.

It’s impossible to keep Jay Wright down for long. The Villanova head coach said before last season that 2022-2023 was a building moment.
The rebuild is over. Justin Moore is a Big East Player of the Year candidate. The senior is going to average way more than his 13.5 per from last season. He’s also going to average more boards than 3.5 and more assists than 3.2.
Tyler Burton, TJ Bamba, Eric Dixon, and Mark Armstrong will join Moore in the starting five. Wright is an excellent tournament coach. He will get the Wildcats to peak right before the NCAA Tournament. At 35-to-1 odds, Villanova is the best underdog play on the board.
