2023 Quaker State 400 NASCAR Odds & Prediction

After last week’s Chicago Street Race, NASCAR drivers will be happy to return to a turn left event. The Quaker State 400 happens this Sunday at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia. Kyle Busch will step into his vehicle the +1000 opening odds chalk followed by Chase Elliott at +1100 and Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney at +1200. 2022 Quaker State 400 Recap

Hendrick driver Chase Elliott grabbed the checkered flag followed by Ross Chastain in second and Austin Cindric in third. Erik Jones finished fourth.

Ryan Blaney crossed the line fifth. Sixth went to Daniel Suarez followed by Justin Haley in seventh. Aric Almirola, Cole Custer, and Harrison Burton rounded out the top ten.

Top Choice to Win the 2023 Quaker State 400

If we throw out last weekend’s Chicago Street Race, which we should because NASCAR crews and drivers aren’t used to street races, the usual suspects land on our picks list.

Let’s start with Joey Logano, who has a win this season. Logano’s victory came in the first race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. So Logano has a victory over Sunday’s race track.

Joey’s form suggests he does well in this. While many struggled at the Chicago Street Race, Logano started ninth and moved up a spot to finish eighth.

The nineteenth at Nashville wasn’t ideal, but before that race, Logano had clocked two third place finishes at World Wide Technology Raceway and at Sonoma. Joey offers decent enough odds to place on top.

Second Choice to Win the 2023 Quaker State 400

Kyle Busch heads to Atlanta on fire. Even at the Chicago Street Race, Kyle excelled when finishing fifth after starting eighteenth.

Before Chicago, Busch had finished sixth at Charlotte, had won at World Wide Technology Raceway, and had finished second at Sonoma.

Busch finished ninth at Nashville. Kyle also finished tenth at Atlanta. So the favorite has had success over this track.

Third Choice to Win the 2023 Quaker State 400

If Chase is going to make a push for the playoffs, Sunday is the day to start. Elliott had to sit out most of the season due to an injury. Then he got a suspension where he had to miss a race.

There are plenty of races left for Hendrick’s top driver to score a playoff berth. Elliott has two fifth place finishes, two third place finishes, a fourth and a seventh in the last 7 events. A win would be nice. So if you think Chase breaks through, consider putting him on top.

Top Underdog to Win the 2023 Quaker State 400

The thirty-second at the Chicago Street Race is no big deal. Not all drivers and crews perform well in street races.

Go back at least two races to get an idea of Truex Jr.’s form. Martin finished second at Nashville. He won at Sonoma, finished fifth at World Wide Technology and finished third at Charlotte. Truex Jr. for sure can win this and the odds are more than fair.
