New Orleans Saints vs. New England Patriots

- Where: Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, MA
- NFL Odds: Saints (+106) // Patriots (-125)
The Saints didn’t play well in their last, a loss to the NFC South rival Tampa Bay Buccaneers. But although New Orleans played an awful game, the Saints should be the chalk in this matchup.
Yes, the Patriots made a trade with the Chargers that returns cornerback J.C. Jackson to New England. However, Jackson will be on an island because Christian Gonzalez and Jonathan Jones are both out. The real reason to like New Orleans is that Matthew Judon also won’t suit up. Saints win SU.

Baltimore is one of the best teams in the NFL. However, this is a rivalry game. Not only is this a rivalry contest but the Steelers battle Baltimore on their field.
In addition, Mike Tomlin should devise a strategy, like he seems to do every season, to contain Lamar Jackson. All of the factors add up to the Steelers winning this straight up.

The Falcons have some pieces that will make it difficult for the Texans to escape with a win. But Houston has an huge edge at the most important position on the field, quarterback.
C.J. Stroud is the real deal. The dude dominated the Pittsburgh Steelers last Sunday. The ATL has an advantage because this is on their home field, but Stroud is playing like a pro bowler. So Houston gets the nod.

Both teams boast great rushing attacks. The difference is that Tennessee’s rushing defense is slightly better than Indianapolis’.
Also, as good as Anthony Richardson and Zack Moss are at rushing the football, Derrick Henry is a future hall of famer. The Titans tend to blow it on the road. So by no means is this a lock pick but Henry and the Tennessee rush defense should lead the Titans to a division win.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Arizona Cardinals

The Bengals rush for 70 yards per game, which will be an issue versus the Cardinals. Arizona has a decent defense.
Also, the Cards will control the line of scrimmage with their excellent rushing attack. So Cincinnati, as crazy it sounds, could fall to 1-4.

No doubt, the Philadelphia Eagles are going to move the football. Ah, but so will the Rams.
In fact, Los Angeles has the advantage because Puka Nacua and running back Kyren Williams will beat Philly’s linebackers and secondary players. So if Matthew Stafford can get the ball out before the Eagles’ D line gets to him, the Rams will hand Jalen Hurts and his mates their first loss of the season.

In addition, the Vikings scored their first win of the season and it was legit. Minnesota held the Panthers to 13 points in the 21-13 victory. Vikings start a streak.

New York Jets vs. Denver Broncos

For sure, Denver played great to rally from 28 down and beat the Chicago Bears 31-28. However, the wrong team is the chalk in this matchup.
The Jets’ defense won’t allow 2 touchdowns in this, much less 4. Also, New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson completed over 72% of his passes for 279 yards and threw 3 touchdowns versus a much better defense, Kansas City’s, than Denver’s in NFL Week 4.

Green Bay Packers vs. Las Vegas Raiders

- Where: Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, NV
- NFL Odds: Packers (-114) // Raiders (-103)
Detroit rushed at will against Green Bay’s defense, which means Josh Jacobs, one of the better running backs in the NFL, should have no trouble scorching the Packers.
Vegas quarterback Aidan O’Connell suffered seven sacks against the Chargers and the Raiders still lost by just 7 points. Green Bay won’t send O’Connell, or Jimmy Garoppolo if he plays, to the ground nearly as much. Raiders pocket their second victory of the season.
